Project Synopsis

The Loan Document Project for LTF encompassed translating nearly 13,000 words of technical content in 11 popular Indian languages. These languages included Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu. While translating the documents, our team also paid special attention to cultural sensitivities to ensure that the information would be processed in the intended manner. Along with translation, we also performed a thorough review of the translated version to ensure that the gist was retained and the content was easily readable and comprehensible for the lay person, who would eventually fill the form while applying for loans for their business or other needs.

Project Outcomes – All is Well that Ends Well

Our team worked tirelessly to meet the stringent deadlines and in the end, their efforts paid off. The critical goals of this project included the following:

High-quality translation

Our team ensured that the translation was to the point and would be understood well by the local people in the respective communities. Even the slightest of mistake in translation can cause losses worth millions of rupees to the customer. Keeping this in mind, our translators paid attention to each and every word to ensure that the final message was not lost in translation.

Detailed reviews

Our expert reviewers and proofreaders painstakingly reviewed the documents to ensure that no stone was left unturned. As these are translated documents, our reviewers had to ensure that the flow of sentences was appropriate and that it adhered to the linguistic rules of the translated language.

Professional design

Since the end product was a technical document, our team ensured that the documents were prepared in the original format and adequate attention was paid to the typesetting, layout, and overall design.
